The 2011 Land of Legend Bicycle Tour

The 40th Annual Land of Legend Bicycle Tour will be on Saturday, July 9th.  Early Bird Pre-Registration closes July 1, 2011.  Bike tour begins at  7:00 a.m. and registration ends at 10:00 a.m. on the day of the tour at the Licking County Family YMCA.

Traverse the scenic trails and beautiful back roads of the Licking County area.  This full-service tour includes well-defined routes, plenty of food and rest stops, SAG support and cookies!  With 3 route options, this year's tour is designed to appeal to family riders, casual road riders and the long-distance hill-climber looking for a challenge.  The tour will guide cyclists through some of Ohio's most beautiful trails and back roads.  The 32-mile route features paved bike paths and country roads that are level to rolling with a few short hills that will take you through the community and landmarks of Licking County.  The 62- and 100-mile routes present the same beauty with a few more significant hills.

After your tour enjoy a fun filled day at the YMCA outdoor pool.  Refreshments will be on-hand throughout the day.

Proceeds benefit the preservation of the recreational trails in Licking County.
